Removing Complexity with Intuitive Solutions for large HR provider
Challenge
The client relies on a legacy recruitment application UI that has limited agility, is complex to maintain and offers insufficient user experience.
The registration process for sick leaves has over 120 different process outcomes. Result calculation after a registration takes place in a separate application.
The UI is complex and hard to maintain. It is non-intuitive, produces a high error rate and does not allow editing of registered.
Our approach
- Understanding the process from SME PoV as well as end-to-end systems PoV
- Rationalization of possible process outcomes through applied ML
- Development of case life cycle process for sick leave registration with new, user-friendly features.
- Development of User-friendly, intuitive and responsive UI tor sick leave registration.
- Solution is designed in a way that the registration process can now be monitored on key KPIs.
Outcome
Result Rationalisation
Using ML and advanced Data Analysis, Process outcomes could be rationalised, resulting in a reduction of possible outcomes from 120 to only 65.
Case Life Cycle Design
The registration process was converted into a 3-step case life cycle that can be saved, paused, validated and forwarded to other users.
Intuitive, user friendly UI
The registration process now takes place within an intuitive, user-friendly UI, increasing user experience and decreasing complexity, error rates and training requirements.
Case Monitoring
Cases can now be monitored on key KPI´s. Users can now easily view and manage cases assigned to them, decreasing the processing time altogether.
